This class consists of AGATA MARU only, completed in Nov ‘31 for Kitakyushu Shosen K.K. and sold in ’35 to Kyushu Yusen K.K. She was requisitioned in Nov ‘41 by the IJN and converted that same month to an auxiliary anti-submarine netlayer. She was sunk in Apr ’45 by air attack NE Car Nicobar Island.
