Senshu. Laid down at Kawasaki Ship Building, Ltd.,
5 September 1944:
Launched and numbered CD-124.
24 October 1944:
Completed and registered in the IJN.
10 April 1945:
Near Futaoi-Jima, Shiminoseki. At 1547, while
minesweeping, CD-124 strikes a mine and is badly damaged.
15 August 1945:
Japan accepts the Allies “Potsdam Declaration” (of unconditional surrender) and hostilities cease.
30 November 1945:
Removed from the Navy List.
1 February 1948:
Nagasaki. Scrapped.
