27 February 1945:
Nagasaki. Laid down at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ shipyard.

14 April 1945:
Launched and numbered CD-204.

11 July 1945:
Completed registered in the IJN.

17 July 1945:
Senzaki, NW Yamaguchi Prefecture. CD-204 incurs damage in an accident of an unknown nature.

18 July1945:
Enters Senzaki Harbor, then sails to Maizuru for repairs.

28 July 1945:
Arrives at Maizuru.

15 August 1945:
Japan accepts the Allies “Potsdam Declaration” (of unconditional surrender) and hostilities cease.

22 August 1945:
Departs Maizuru.

24 August 1945:
Arrives at Sasebo. Postwar, CD-204 is not repaired.

20 November 1945:
Removed from the Navy List.

31 January 1948:
Scrapped.
