CHOKI MARU Class - Auxiliary netlayer

This class consists of CHOKI MARU only, completed in Jun ‘39 for Daicho Kisen K.K. She was requisitioned in Jan ‘41 by the IJN and converted to an auxiliary anti-submarine netlayer in Dec ‘41. She survived the war and resumed her commercial service, being sold to various owners, until Feb ’72 when she struck a submerged object, and was beached at Jomalig Island and abandoned.
