Echizen Maru Class Transport

(ECHIZEN MARU, prewar)

This class consists of only SUI-MOW (later ECHIZEN MARU). SUI-MOW was completed as a cargo ship for the Hamburg-America Line. In '42, she was requisitioned by the IJA.
In '44, she was requisitioned by the IJN. ECHIZEN MARU was sunk in '44 by an American submarine W of Saipan, Marianas.
