This class consists of HAKUTETSU MARU No. 7 only, completed in Jul
‘36 for Hakatawan Tetsudo Kisen K.K. as a cargo ship. She was
requisitioned by the IJN and converted to an auxiliary transport and was
torpedoed and sunk by a USN submarine in Sep ‘44.
