This class consists of HIRO MARU only, completed in ‘27 for Tsushima Shosen K.K. She was requisitioned in Nov ‘41 by the IJN and converted to an auxiliary anti-submarine netlayer. She was torpedoed and sunk in Jan ’44 by an American submarine off Saipan.
