Kinryu Maru Class

In 1941, KINRYU MARUs was requisitioned from the Kokusai Line by the IJN and converted to an armed merchant cruiser. After participating in the capture of Wake Island, Rabaul, Kavieng and Buna, KINRYU MARU was sunk in Aug '42 by American aircraft while attempting to reinforce Guadalcanal.
