This class consists only of KOKAI MARU completed in May ‘39 for
Shimatani Kisen K.K. She was requisitioned by the IJN in Oct ’41 and
converted to an auxiliary transport. She was bombed and sunk North of New
Hanover, New Ireland in Feb ’44.
*KOKAI MARU had a cruiser stern.
