This class consists of KOSOKU MARU No. 3 only. Completed in 1932 as a 176-tons refrigerating cargo ship for Kosoku Unyu K.K., she was sold several times and while owned by Nippon Suisan K.K., she was requisitioned by the IJN in May ’37 as a general requisitioned stores ship. Later registered as an auxiliary stores ship, she was bombed and sunk by aircraft in Mar ’44.
