Nampo Maru Class Transport

This class consists of NAMPO MARU only, completed in Aug 1940 for Awanokuni Kyodo Kisen K.K. as a 1,206-tons cargo ship. She was requisitioned in Dec 1940 by the IJN, converted the following month to an auxiliary gunboat and torpedoed and sunk by an American submarine in Jun 1942.
