NISSHO MARU No. 2 - Class Auxiliary Transport

This class consists of NISSHO MARU No. 2 only, probably completed in ‘40 for Marusho Kaiun K.K. She was requisitioned by the IJN in Dec ’41 and converted to an auxiliary gunboat. NISSHO MARU No. 2 was re-rated as an auxiliary transport in Oct ’43. She was torpedoed and sunk by an American submarine in Mar ’45.
