Saikyo Maru Class Transport

This class consists of SAIKYO MARU only, completed in 1937 for Hinode Kisen K.K. as a 1,292-tons cargo ship. She was registered in Dec 1940 by the IJN, converted the following month to an auxiliary gunboat and torpedoed and sunk by an American submarine in Jun 1942.
