This class consists of SANSUI MARU only, completed in Jun 34 for Setsuyo Shosen K.K. She was requisitioned in Nov 41 by the IJN. Ship was converted in Jan 42 to an auxiliary anti-submarine netlayer. She survived the war, resumed her commercial service, was sold in Nov 67 to Sano Yasu Shoji and dismantled that same month at Utsumi-Machi, Kagawa Prefecture.
