Completed and attached to the Sasebo Naval District. Assigned to the Combined Fleet. Reserve Lt Takeshi Matsumoto is the CO. Loads fuel.

At 0300, LST T. 138 is sunk by USS KINGFISH (SS-234) off Kita, Iwo Jima. T.132 engages in anti-submarine battle and depth charge throwing. T.132 arrives at Iwo Jima and lands materials.
27 October 1944:
Departs Iwo Jima.
28 October 1944:
Arrives at Chichijima. At 1000, engages in an anti-aircraft battle. At 1230, again engages in an anti-aircraft battle.
29 October 1944:
At 1100, engages in an anti-aircraft battle. At 1330, again engages in an anti-aircraft battle. Departs Chichijima.
30 October 1944:
At 0030, engages with surfaced submarines. Survives shelling. Later, arrives at Iwo Jima. Lands materials and and departs.
31 October 1944:
Arrives at Chichijima.

At 1000, engages in an anti-aircraft battle.

Loads 250 volumes of aviation volatile oil, 70 tons of cement, 20 tons of rebar. Departs Futami.
27 December 1944:
Arrives at Iwo Jima. At 0700 and 0900 engages in an anti-aircraft battle with Lockheed "Lightning" P-38 fighter-bombers. At 0907, the main steam tube is damaged by gunfire, and the main engine stops. At 1015, engages in an anti-aircraft battle with Consolidated B-24 "Liberator" heavy bombers. At 1118, suffers high angle cannon failure. At 1140, US cruisers and destroyers launch attacks.At 1153, T.132 is in full retreat. At 1230, a torpedo fired by either USS destroyer DUNLAP (DD - 384), FANNING (DD - 385) or CUMMINGS (DD - 365) hits and starts a fire. The central part of the ship floods. At 1300, the first half of the ship breaks off and sinks at the shoreline, followed by the second half , all at 24.47N, E141.20E.
10 March 1945:
Removed from the Navy List.
