PICTURE WANTED
This class consists of WAKAMIYA MARU only, completed in Apr ‘37 for Miyawaki Mantaro. She was requisitioned in Jan ‘42 by the IJN and converted to an auxiliary anti-submarine netlayer the following month. She was bombed and sunk in Jul ’45 by US aircraft off Kirun, Formosa (now Keelung, Taiwan).
