10 February 1942:

14-16 February:
Steamed from Samah to Subic Bay, then joined Manila blockade operations.

28 March-4 April:
Arrived Mako, then docked for repairs.

10 April:
Reassigned to 1st Surface Escort Division, Southwest Area Fleet.

Escorted convoy from Mako to Lingayen Gulf.

5-19 May:

Escorted convoys from Sasebo to Mako and back, two round-trips.

Docked at Sasebo for repairs.

22 September:
Departed Sasebo, escorting convoys to Cape St. Jacques and Singapore.

20 January-5 February 1943:
Docked at Mako for repairs.

5-16 February:
Escorted convoy from Mako to Shanghai.

23 February-7 March:
Escorted convoy from Shanghai to Palau.

11-17 March:
Escorted convoy from Palau to Takao.

24 March-27 April:
Escorted convoys from Takao to Saigon, Manila and Moji.

2-6 May:
Escorted convoy from Moji to Takao.

7-15 May:
Escorted convoy from Takao to Maizuru, then docked for repairs.

19 June-23 July:
Maizuru-Manila convoy escort duties.

1 August-4 September:
Escorted convoy from Manila to Balikpapan and Palau and back.

7-21 September:
Escorted convoy from Manila to Moji.

24 September-10 October:
Escorted convoys from Moji via Takao to Manila.

1 October:
Reassigned to 3rd Southern Expeditionary Fleet, Southwest Area Fleet.

21 October-3 November:
Escorted convoy from Manila via Cebu to Kau, Halmahera Islands.

4-10 November:
Escorted convoy from Kau via Davao to Manila.

18 November-1 December:
Escorted convoy from Manila to Kau and back.

9-27 January 1944:
Escorted convoys from Manila to Tarakan and back.

29 January-5 February:
Escorted convoys from Manila to Zamboanga and back.

8-19 February:
Escorted convoys from Manila to Balikpapan and back.

20 March-13 April:
Escorted convoys from Manila to Kau and back.

27-29 April:
Transport run from Manila to Bacolod, Iloilo Island, and back; then resumed Philippine-area convoy escort duties.

24 September:
Sunk: by aircraft of TF 38, while escorting convoy south of Mindoro, 110 miles SSE of Manila (13-00N, 122-00E).

10 December 1944:
Removed from Navy List.
