TECHNICAL DATA
Description: Two-seat submarine-borne twin-float reconnaissance monoplane. Welded steel-tube fuselage with fabric, wood and light alloy covering. Fabric-covered wings with light metal spars and wooden ribs.
Accommodation: Pilot and observer seated in tandem enclosed cockpits.
Powerplant: One Hitachi Tempu 12 nine-cylinder air-cooled radial engine, rated at 340 hp for take-off, and 300 hp at sea level, driving a two-blade wooden propeller.
Armament: One flexible rear-firing 7.7 mm Type 92 machine-gun and 60 kg of bombs.
