30 October 1944:
Completed at Yokosuka; assigned same date to Desron 11, Combined Fleet, for training. Ship's captain: Lieutenant (s.g.) Koh Moroishi [63].

20 January 1945:

Assigned to Desdiv 52, Escort Squadron 31, Combined Fleet.

22-27 January:

Escorted convoy from Moji to Hong Kong.

28-29 January:
Steamed from Hong Kong to Takao.

30-31 January:

Departed Takao, accompanying UME and SHIOKAZE on aircrew evacuation run to Aparri (Luzon), aborted due to air attack. Medium damage: in attacks by U.S. Army B-25s and P-38s 20 miles south of Formosa: set afire by direct bomb hit, 40 dead and 30 injured; then back to Takao for emergency repairs.

21-23 February:

Steamed from Keelung to Kure, then docked for repairs. Remained in Inland Sea through end of war.

15 March-20 April:

Escort Squadron 31 reassigned to Second Fleet, then back to Combined Fleet.

August:

Surrendered at Kure at end of war.

5 October 1945:

Removed from Navy List. Later used as repatriation ship.

6 July 1947:

Turned over to China; renamed HENG YANG; later hulked.
