30 September 1944:
Completed at Osaka; assigned same date to Desron 11, Combined Fleet, for training. Ship's captain: Lieutenant (s.g.) Kuroi Toshio [62].

14 November-4 December:

Escorted Convoy HI-81 from Imari Bay, Kyushu, via Mako to Singapore. Primary escort/plane guard to SHINYO until CVE was sunk on 17 November.

15 November:

Assigned to Desdiv 52 (HINOKI, KUWA, MOMI, SUGI, KASHI), Desron 11, Combined Fleet.

20 November:

Desdiv 52 reassigned to Escort Squadron 31, Fifth Fleet.

15-16 December:
Steamed from Manila to Camranh Bay.

24-27 December:

Escorted San Jose bombardment force.

1-7 January 1945:
Steamed from Cape St. Jacques to Takao.

21 January:
Medium damage:
in attack by aircraft of TF 38 at Takao.

22-23 January:
Steamed from Takao to Hong Kong; departed again on 28 January.

2-7 February:
Escorted SERIA Maru convoy from Shanghai to Moji, then docked at Sasebo for repairs.

5 February:

Escort Squadron 31 reassigned to Combined Fleet.

14 March:

Arrived in Kure, then in Inland Sea through end of war. Engaged in antiaircraft actions several times.

15 March-20 April:

Escort Squadron 31 reassigned to Second Fleet, then back to Combined Fleet.

3 April:
Lieutenant Kuroi relieved by Lieutenant Commander Hagiwara Manubu [63] (prev. C.O. SHIGURE).

28 July:
Minor damage:
in attacks by aircraft of TF 38 at Kure.

August:
Surrendered at Kure at end of war.

5 October 1945:

Removed from Navy List. Later used as repatriation ship.

7 August 1947:

Turned over to U.S.; later scrapped.
