30 September 1944:
Completed at Maizuru; assigned same date to Desron 11, Combined Fleet, for training. Ship's captain: Lieutenant Commander Iwabuchi Goro [61] (prev. C.O. YUNAGI).

25 October-18 November:

Escorted convoys from Sasebo to Formosa and back to Kure.

25 November:

Assigned to Desdiv 43, Escort Squadron 31, Fifth Fleet.

25 November-11 December:

Escorted convoys from Moji via Formosa to Manila.

15-16 December:

Steamed from Manila to Camranh Bay.

24-27 December:

Escorted San Jose bombardment force. Minor damage: in air attacks due to strafing.

1-7 January 1945:
Steamed from Cape St. Jacques to Takao.

13 January:

Arrived Maizuru, then docked for repairs.

5 February:

Escort Squadron 31 reassigned to Combined Fleet.

2 March:

Arrived in Kure, then in Inland Sea through end of war.

15 March-20 April:

Escort Squadron 31 reassigned to Second Fleet, then back to Combined Fleet.

6 April:

With HANAZUKI and MAKI, escorted YAMATO from Tokuyama as far as Bungo Strait.

25 April:
Lieutenant Commander Iwabuchi relieved by Lieutenant Commander Morimoto Yoshihisa [60] (prev. C.O. HARUKAZE).

August:
Surrendered at Kure at end of war.

5 October 1945:

Removed from Navy List. Later used as repatriation ship.

5 July 1947:

Turned over to Soviet Union.
