Assigned to Desdiv 53 (SAKURA, NARA, TSUBAKI, YANAGI, TACHIBANA, KEYAKI), Desron 11, Combined Fleet.
1-20 April:
Desron 11 reassigned to Second Fleet, then back to Combined Fleet.
15 July:
Desdiv 53 deactivated; reassigned to Osaka Guard District.
August:
Surrendered at Yokosuka, disarmed, at end of war.
5 October 1945:
Removed from Navy List. Later used as repatriation ship.
5 July 1947:
Turned over to U.S.; later expended as target off Yokosuka.
