31 January 1945:

Completed at Tokyo; assigned same date to Desron 11, Combined Fleet, for training. Ship's captain: Commander Nakao Kotaro [57] (prev. C.O. AKISHIMO).

10 February:
Commander Nakao relieved by Commander Araki Masami [50] (prev. C.O. USHIO).

16 February:

Saw antiaircraft action in air raid on Yokosuka.

23 February:

Arrived in Kure, then training in the Inland Sea.

25 May:

Assigned to Desdiv 41 (FUYUZUKI, SUZUTSUKI, NATSUZUKI), Escort Squadron 31, Combined Fleet.

5 June:

Light damage: hit mine while leaving Kure; repaired at quayside.

2 August:

Moored and camouflaged in Inland Sea; later surrendered in that condition.

5 October 1945:

Removed from Navy List. Later used as repatriation ship.

29 August 1947:
Turned over to China; renamed FEN YANG; scrapped 1962-63.
